District Committee Member

A District Committee Member represents the A.A. groups in the district and serves as a vital link between the groups and the Area Committee. The DCM carries the collective group conscience to the Area, chairs monthly district meetings, reports at Area meetings, and works closely with GSRs. The DCM also assists the Delegate and Area Registrar in keeping group information up to date.

Alternate DCM

The Alternate DCM supports the DCM and steps in when the DCM is unavailable. This includes chairing district meetings or voting at Area Assemblies and Committee meetings on the district’s behalf. The Alt DCM helps maintain communication with GSRs and groups, and is also responsible for coordinating workshops and special service events.

District Treasurer

The Treasurer manages all financial activities for the district. Responsibilities include collecting Seventh Tradition contributions, making disbursements according to the approved budget, and presenting monthly financial reports. The Treasurer also encourages continued contribution support for the Area and the General Service Office (GSO).

District Secretary

The Secretary records and distributes minutes from district meetings and assists the DCM during those meetings. Additional duties include managing district correspondence and copying or distributing flyers and announcements for upcoming district events.
